Calling all Crime Writers - Can I help promote your books?
I've recently written and published a guide to British crime fiction, The Crime Fiction Tour of Britain. In it, I've included over 100 authors and series, but I know I'm only scratching the surface of the huge range of authors writing crime fiction in Britain today, and want to make the guide as interesting and helpful for crime fiction readers as I can. I'm already working on an updated and hopefully to be much expanded Second Edition, and that's where I need your help. If you are a writer of British crime fiction, either contemporary or historical, get in touch and I'll try and include you in the new edition. Or if you are a big fan of a particular author and you want to make sure they are included, tell me.
What it would be really helpful to know is:
The name of the series/main detective
Where is your book set, or if it is historical, when is it set
Where to start - the first book or a different book if you think that is a better place to begin
Anything else you'd like readers to know
You can read The Crime Fiction Tour of Britain for free if you've got Kindle Unlimited, or it is available to buy on Kindle and also in paperback from Amazon. You can also find details of my book on Goodreads here. Please do let me know what you think, and share it with anyone else you think would be interested. Oh and if you read it and feel like leaving me a review on Amazon, Goodreads or your own blog/website, I'd be eternally grateful!
To get in touch, to suggest an author/book/series, to give me feedback, or just to say hello, you can use the contact form, or get hold of me on Twitter.
Written a crime fiction series that's not set in Britain? Don't worry, I'd like to hear from you too. I'm currently working on the next book, The Crime Fiction Tour of Europe, and ultimately plan to expand the series to the rest of the world too, so do tell me what I should be including that I might otherwise miss!
